We're slap-bang in the middle of transfer season and while the number of actual transfers has been surprisingly limited so far, the rumour mill is working as hard as ever.
I'm going to try to keep you up to date with as much of the gossip as I can from now on. In return, I want to know what you've heard so stick a comment at the bottom.
Here are a few little gems that have caught my eye today. I make no promises about the truth of these! - It looks like Dimitar Berbatov is off to Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson is confident he will be able to buy him from Tottenham but there are also rumours of a Barcelona bid. - Backburn just rejected a bid from Tottenham for David Bentley. - Robbie Keane is keen (ha) on a move to Liverpool from current club Tottenham Hotspur. Looks like a deal is nearing completion too. - Jose Mourinho, manager of Inter Milan, has been keen to get hold of Frank Lampard from his old club Chelsea. Last I heard, Lampard hadn't signed a new deal with Chelsea. - Wigan are trying to get their hands on Andrew Johnson and are busy making bids to Everton. - Robert Green ain't happy at West Ham - they've refused to offer him a better deal or let him go to another club. - Real Madrid's Robinho seems to be highly sought after by several Premier League clubs - rumours about Chelsea and Manchester United's interest is rife. And his agent has added even more to this with a claim Real Madrid's rivals Barcelona are also interested.
There have been a few sagas dragging on for a while now. These are some of the ones I've noticed (and I'm actually getting a bit bored of now): - Gareth Barry - Aston Villa are looking to sell him but it looked recently like Liverpool were no longer interested. Barry's getting a bit teed off by some accounts. - Didier Drogba - He's keen to leave Chelsea but they've rejected a swap for Samuel Eto'o suggested by Barcelona. - Emmanual Adebayor - Barcelona have just failed to poach him from Arsenal. - Andrei Arshavin - highly sought after since his impressive performance at EURO 2008. Supposedly, there's been a bid from Arsenal but Arshavin is really desperate for a move to Barcelona.
And here are some of the things that have actually happened. Yup, real and actual news: - Peter Crouch has moved to Portsmouth. - Ronaldinho has moved to AC Milan. - Deco went to Chelsea. - Alexander Hleb has gone to Barcelona from Arsenal. - Bobby Zamora's now at Fulham. - Gilberto Silva has moved from Arsenal to Panathinaikos.
Are my facts out of date already, or just plain wrong? Add an update or a correction! Have you heard a rumour you care to share?
What's your take on recent events? Are you looking forward to next season and do you reckon recent changes have made your club stronger or weaker?
Liverpool fan
I honestly hope alonso goes somewhere for 15mil+, i think thes a brilliant player, but, barrys style adapts more with the premiership style, and the pass master alonso seems to have lost his way. Crouch leaving, was, bad in its way as he always had a goal in him, but, maybe robbie keane could fill that gap ;) to link up with torres and gerrard playing just behind him.
Rumours on Silva seems to have been silenced for a while, but from what i seen of him from the euros, he is a guy any team would pay for, which is good since valencia need the money. I would love to see him at liverpool, as we could do with a high quality right winger :).
As for the endless ronaldo saga i want him to go and stay. I want him to go so we dont have to worry about him when playing against man u ;), but want him to stay in the premiership for the sake of him being so entertaining at his best.
