Each game mode has a daily and overall Leaderboard for both the Gamer and the Nation. In order to qualify for a position on any of the Leaderboards, a certain number of games have to be played, and these vary for each different game mode. This is to try and avoid one extraordinary game/result skewing the Leaderboard, thus rightly rewarding the consistently best players and nation.
Daily “Gamer” Leaderboards
Below is the number of games that a “Gamer” has to play in one day for each game mode in order to qualify for a position on the Leaderboard;
Kick Off (Team): 5 games.
Kick Off (Be A Pro): 5 games.
Euro2008 Tournament: 1 tournament needs to be played to completion (this can be played over several days). On completion, the total points achieved for the tournament are awarded and count towards your score for that day.
CYC: Same as for Euro2008 Tournament above.
Euro Online Cup: 3 cups completed.
Daily “Nation” Leaderboards
Below is the number of games that a “Nation” has to play in one day for each game mode in order to qualify for a ranking on the Leaderboard.
Note that a Gamer's score will only contribute to the Nation Leaderboard if they play the pre-requisite number of games described in the Daily Gamer Leaderboard section above.
Kick Off (Team): 50 games played for that nation.
Kick Off (Be a Pro): 25 games played for that nation.
Euro2008 Tournament: 5 tournaments completed for that nation.
CYC: Same as for Euro2008 Tournament above.
Euro Online Cup: 25 cups completed for that nation.
Overall Gamer Leaderboards
The top 250 Gamers for each game mode for each day are awarded points at the end of that day based on their position in the Leaderboard that count towards their overall score. The points are awarded linearly, such that the 1st place Gamer in the Leaderboard is awarded 250 points, 2nd place Gamer is awarded 249 points etc … down to the 250th place Gamer in the Leaderboard who is awarded 1 point.
At the end of the tournament, the Gamer with the most overall points per mode (and overall across all modes) will win the Overall Trophies.
Overall Nation Leaderboards
The top 10 Nations for each game mode for each day are awarded points at the end of that day based on their position in the Leaderboard that count towards their overall score.
